STIM Tech Group announced in a press release a significant investment in establishing a new business unit dedicated to IT, audio visual and entertainment projects in the cruise business.

Varuna Cruise Engineering thus leverages over 30 years of experience in designing, engineering and implementing IT, networking and audio visual systems for land-based projects and corporate buildings, the company said.

“In an increasingly demanding and innovative market such as the cruise market, our team of managers, consultants and expert technicians will be at the service of the needs of shipyards and shipowners, for design and provision of IT/AVC/Entertainment solutions and systems that are both innovative and interactive, ” said Stefano Marazzi, CEO of STIM Tech Group.

“We are developing a strategic offer starting from design, through the construction up to the maintenance throughout the life of the ship, that meet the technological and economic needs of shipbuilding and shipowners,” said Matteo Ferro, managing director of Varuna Cruise Engineering and CEO of two of the Group’s companies.

As part of its new deployment strategy, Varuna plans to establish a presence at major industry trade fairs, collaborate with sector professionals and companies and open new branch offices to be strategically located near shipyards and shipowners.
