Cruise Saudi has announced its participation in the United Nations Global Compact, promoting sustainable and socially responsible business practices, according to a press release.

By joining the United Nations Global Compact, the company pledges to integrate its Ten Principles covering human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption into its strategy, culture and operations.

Lars Clasen, CEO of Cruise Saudi, said: “By joining the UN Global Compact, Cruise Saudi demonstrates its commitment to our global society and the environment that we rely upon. We are delighted to join over 20,000 companies worldwide who share the same vision as us, and we hope this movement can drive positive change.”

Additionally, Cruise Saudi will participate in collaborative projects supporting the United Nations’ broader development goals, especially its 17 Sustainable Development Goals aimed at addressing climate change and eliminating poverty.

Launched in July 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is a voluntary initiative encouraging businesses worldwide to adopt and report on sustainable and socially responsible policies.
