Carnival Corporation has been named one of America’s Best Employers for Women in 2024 by Forbes, according to a press release.

The recognition highlights Carnival Corporation as the top-ranked cruise company among the top 600 companies across 25 industries, commended for creating a positive and inclusive work environment for women.

Forbes, in partnership with Statista Inc., conducted an independent survey of over 150,000 women working for companies with at least 1,000 employees in the U.S. The survey evaluated employers based on factors such as representation, pay equity, discrimination, flexibility, family support and parental leave. Additionally, women were asked to assess other employers in their industries, or those of their friends and family. The top 600 companies, reflecting excellence in these areas and a strong presence of women in executive and board positions, were honored as the Best Employers for Women 2024.

“At Carnival Corporation, we proudly support a workforce of over 160,000 team members representing 150 countries, and it is imperative that we cultivate a positive environment that celebrates the diversity of our people and empowers all walks of life,” said Bettina Deynes, global chief human resources officer for Carnival Corporation. “We are honored to be recognized again by Forbes for our commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all our team members.”

In 2023, the company was recognized by Forbes as one of the World’s Best Employers. It also achieved a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-24 Corporate Equality Index, earning the title of Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality for the seventh consecutive year.
