Princess Cruises has revealed that its fifth Royal Class ship will be called Enchanted Princess.
The ship is due to launch in June 2020 and is currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy.
It is the sister ship to the Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess, and will operate European voyages.
Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises’ president, said: “The name Enchanted Princess is captivating and conveys the elegance and grace of our new ship which will introduce more travellers to the pleasures and value of cruising.
“We are certain Enchanted Princess will exceed the expectations of our guests, ensuring they have the most memorable cruise.”
Bookings for the maiden season open on 8 November 2018.
Princess is planning to debut the sixth Royal Class vessel in 2021 and recently revealed some of the features guests can expect on the Sky Princess.
The line also has two Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-powered ships on order.
