A flying display by the Red Arrows – the display team of the Royal Air Force – will mark the departure of the three Cunard Queens from Southampton on Friday 10 August.

Guests on board Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria will be treated to a special commentary while the jets perform.

The Cunard fleet will set sail from Southampton at 5.30pm, heading for the Isle of Wight. The Red Arrows display will start at 7.30pm and will be followed by a smoke fly over the ships at approximately 7.52pm.

Cunard is also hosting five children who have won competitions to visit the three ships and take part in a ‘Captain for the Day’ experience.

The winners will have a tour of Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth, spending time with the captain, and visit the bridge. There will also be lunch on board and a trip round all three ships in a speedboat.
