Saga has released its new wave campaign, featuring savings of up to 35 per cent across a range of cruises.
The offer is valid on the 13-night Britain’s Celtic fringe cruise; 14-night Winter Sun in the Canary Islands sailing; 17-night Into the Gulf of Bothnia voyage, the Islands of the Atlantic itinerary, and more.
Saga Travel CEO Nick Stace said: “This is the perfect time of year to book a holiday – with post-Christmas blues and January stretching ahead of us, we all need something to look forward to and our research shows that Saga customers are looking forward to travelling this year.
“They’ll take all precautions necessary and expect others to do the same, but they want to get back to holidaying as they used to.
“They can rest assured that when they travel with Saga we take great pride in our travel safety protocols to ensure our guests can travel with confidence.”
Saga also released research that shows 64 per cent of travellers have said that travel is important or very important to them in 2022.
A further 56 per cent already have plans in place to travel in the first half of the year, according to Saga.
The line also found that 89 per cent felt the biggest driver of confidence when cruising is taking all necessary health precautions, with 67 per cent feeling more confident when having good insurance that covers financial, medical and safety needs.
In late 2021, Saga released a selection of new 2022 itineraries across its ocean and river cruise ships.
At the time, Saga Cruises CEO Nigel Blanks said: “Our guests are experienced travellers and we know they’re looking for opportunities to explore new destinations and try new things.”
