APT Travelmarvel has announced that it will add a second small ship to its Croatian fleet for 2022.
Princess Eleganza – a sister ship to Lady Eleganza – will sail two new Travelmarvel itineraries from 13 May, doubling the line’s capacity in the Adriatic.
The 36-guest ship will operate an eight-day Croatian Island Adventure, from Split to Dubrovnik. Starting from £1,995pp, the cruise includes return flights and seven nights of on-board accommodation.
A 10-day Coast Croatia voyage, from Dubrovnik to Opatija, will also be available, starting from £2,495pp.
Built in 2015, Princess Eleganza is currently undergoing a refurbishment ahead of its inaugural sailing under the Travelmarvel brand.
All public areas, restaurants and the exterior will be “completely refreshed”, APT said.
The line added that the ship will offer a “relaxed and friendly atmosphere” with on-board food showcasing a “distinct home-cooked feel, featuring fresh and tasty Mediterranean cuisine”.
APT UK managing director Paul Melinis said: “Croatia has been so popular with our guests that the appetite for 2022 sailings exceeded all of our expectations.
“With much of the original capacity on our Adriatic Coastal Cruise itinerary aboard our custom newbuild, the Lady Eleganza, sold out for 2022, we have decided to increase our volume in Croatia to meet demand.
“We are delighted to welcome her sister ship, the Princess Eleganza, to our fleet for 2022, and to offer guests a further two itineraries in this spectacular sailing region next year.”
Speaking to Cruise Trade News in a recent interview, Melinis added: “One of our newest product offerings is Croatian small yacht cruising, which has been fantastic and seems to be really resonating with past guests and many new to APT.
“We realised that people wanted to do more in Croatia, so have a fantastic pre and post private touring programme to accompany the offering.”
