CLIA has announced two trade sales webinars for travel agents, to take place early next month.

The webinars, which are free for CLIA members, will be hosted alongside representatives from the CLIA trade engagement working group.

Agents will be able to learn about new itineraries and products, as well as trends and new year projections, the association said.

The first webinar will be held on 1 December and will cover ocean cruises, while the second will take place the following day (2 December), and focus on river, expedition and luxury cruising.

Both sessions will start at 9:30am and last for one hour.

CLIA UK & Ireland MD Andy Harmer said: “With the peak wave period on the horizon, we’ve re-established our trade engagement working group sessions to give agents the information and understanding that will help boost their 2022 sales.

“With so much to look forward to next year, including new cruise lines, ships, itineraries and destinations, we want the trade to be as well-equipped as possible to support their customers.

“There is no charge for members and we’re looking forward to hosting two productive and engaging discussions.”

The registration link will be published shortly on cruising.org.

CLIA recently celebrated its Selling Cruise Day, which welcomed key members from across the industry.

CLIA Cruise Week also ran in late September, which provided members with a new guide containing updates and factsheets with key information on cruise lines and their fleets, including existing ships and those soon to launch.
