Azamara has announced a new five-month world cruise for 2024, sailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and visiting 40 countries across six continents.
The 155-night cruise will take place on the line’s newest ship Azamara Onward, departing on 5 January 2024. It will include 22 overnight stays and 27 late nights in port.
Highlights of Onward’s itinerary include a three-night land excursion to the Great Wall of China; a shore excursion to the Great Pyramids of Giza, a six-night land excursion to see Christ the Redeemer; a visit to Petra, and a three-night land excursion to the Taj Mahal.
Other overnight experiences include a stay on a Great Barrier Reef island and an exploration of the “centuries-old rock-cut churches” of Cappadocia, Turkey.
Bookings are currently open to Azamara Circle Loyalty members only and will open for general sale on 7 December 2021.
Azamara president Carol Cabezas said: “We are thrilled to finally unveil our World Voyage. With opportunities to visit the Seven Wonders of the World and other iconic sites such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Galapagos, and the Black Sea, we are allowing our guests to check off all their bucket-list destinations in one sailing and to connect with more countries and cultures than ever before.
“Not only are we taking our guests further, but we are also encouraging them to travel deeper with our unique overnight land experiences, designed to bring travellers to the heart of the destination and giving them enough time to appreciate its culture.”
Azamara said that the cruise comes with over “$22,000 in exclusive amenities, including the company’s signature AzAmazing Evenings – designed to connect guests to the local culture of the destination”.
Guests will also benefit from $7,000 in on-board credit, business class air travel, a pre-voyage hotel stay, and access to exclusive events.
Earlier in 2021, Azamara released its 2023 deployment for Europe, with itineraries operating across the fleet.
