A-Rosa River Cruises has revealed it will “internationalise” its entire fleet, starting from next year, and has put 2023 itineraries on sale.

The river cruise operator said the enhanced premium all-inclusive offering will provide “richer experiences to guests in terms of discovery, immersion and authenticity”.

It will also place greater emphasis on “flexibility, wellness, service and sustainability”.

Full details will be announced in spring 2022, but guests can expect additional experiences such as more flexibility when dining with the option to serve themselves, and an included evening dinner away from the ship to experience local specialities.

All 13 ships, including A-Rosa Sena, launching 2022, will welcome UK guests as part of the internationalisation, with the line stating that as a result “agents will have more departure dates and availability to sell”.

Moreover, the UK office is recruiting for two new regional sales managers to “drive trade awareness” as it embarks on the next stage of its product strategy.

A- Rosa’s new 2023 sailings include itineraries visiting the Rhine, Amsterdam, the Danube Delta, the Danube Cataracts, Vienna, Budapest and more.

A-Rosa UK & Ireland MD Lucia Rowe said: “Our flexible approach is getting a refresh. We’re using our 20 years of expertise to take our product to the next level and make it even more immersive and ready for the next generation of river cruisers.

“Having a fully international fleet opens up more dates and availability for agents and tour operator partners here in the UK to sell.

“We remain 100 per cent committed to the trade and in order to maximise on opportunities and drive greater awareness, we are busy recruiting two regional sales managers who will be out on the road meeting with agents.

“We also recognise how important experiencing our product is in the sales process and are looking at ways to get as many agents as possible on board in the next two years.”

An A-Rosa app will also be launched, with the line stating that this will “customise guests’ journey and put everything they need from the daily menu to excursion bookings at the touch of a button”.
