Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced the resumption cruises on Seven Seas Explorer.

Guests joined the ship on 15 October 2021 in Trieste, Italy, for a journey through Italy, Croatia and Greece.

The ship is cruising the Adriatic and the Mediterranean Sea on an eight-night itinerary and will visit Ravenna, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Bari, Corfu, Taormina, and Sorrento/Capri.

Seven Seas Explorer will arrive in Rome on 23 October, and continue to cruise southern Europe before crossing the Atlantic to Miami for a season in the Caribbean from mid-November until March 2022.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises president and CEO Jason Montague said: “It’s truly amazing to be back on board Seven Seas Explorer, and it is fantastic to see our guests being treated to the unrivalled Regent experience once again.

“Our crew have done an outstanding job in preparing for the ship’s return, with the service so seamless it is as if we were never away.”

The ship is the second in the Regent Seven Seas fleet to return, joining the line’s newest ship, Seven Seas Splendor, which set sail on its inaugural season from Southampton on 11 September 2021.

The next ships to return to operations will be Seven Seas Mariner on 18 December 2021 and Seven Seas Navigator on 6 January 2022, both from Miami.

Seven Seas Voyager will be the final ship to return on 15 February 2022, cruising from Barcelona.

Regent Seven Seas has implemented a SailSAFE health and safety programme, which includes 100 per cent vaccination of both guests and crew.

The programme was developed with guidance from a team of public health and scientific experts, including the SailSAFE global health and wellness council, the cruise line added.

Guests must be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to departure when sailing with Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
