Viking has launched two 138-day World Cruises for 2023-24 due to “strong demand”.
The voyages, which will depart three days apart, will sail the same itineraries from Fort Lauderdale.
Guests can choose to sail on Viking Sky, which will depart on 20 December 2023, or on Viking Neptune, which will depart 23 December.
The cruise includes overnights in 11 ports, such as Sydney, Haifa, and Istanbul, and double overnights in Auckland, Bali, Ho Chi Minh, Yangon, and Mumbai. Prices start from £39,990pp.
The line will also operate a shorter 121-day Viking World Journeys itinerary, with guests able to embark the ship in Los Angeles.
This cruise will call at destinations in Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East, before exploring the Mediterranean and ending in London.
Prices start from £36,990pp.
Guests who book any itinerary before 30 September 2021 will receive an additional £1,600 per person in shore excursion credit for any optional land programs and £800 per person in shipboard credit.
Chairman Torstein Hagen said: “We are delighted to once again offer explorers the opportunity to circumnavigate the world in comfort.
“Our previous world cruises sold out in a matter of weeks, and we are now seeing more interest in these extended voyages than ever before.
“Like me, our guests are curious people – we view travel as an opportunity to discover, learn and grow.
“With that Viking spirit of exploration, our seamless world cruises are possibly the greatest of all adventures.”
Viking recently held the float-out ceremony for its second purpose-built expedition ship, Viking Polaris.
Scheduled to debut in summer 2022, the 378-guest ship will spend its maiden season sailing voyages to the Arctic and Antarctica.
Its sister ship Viking Octantis is set launch early next year for journeys to Antarctica and North America’s Great Lakes.
