The Cruise Challenge is ready to make its eagerly anticipated comeback with live events taking place through to the end of the year.
This one-of-a-kind roadshow, organised by Cruise Trade News, is prepped and ready to put the fun back into events, with its unique combination of education, entertainment and prizes.
This is the place to learn about new ships, itineraries, destinations and all the latest happenings in the sector.
The Cruise Challenge will start in Glasgow on 14 September, followed by an event in Edinburgh the following day, and then travel across the country through the autumn and winter, visiting cities such as Southampton, Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, and more.
Riviera Travel sales development manager Paul Mellon said: “We can’t wait for the return of the Cruise Challenge, especially as the events will be back in person.
“The evenings are not only educational for the agents who attend but are also great fun, which will be much needed after the last 18 months we’ve all had.”
Royal Caribbean International sales director UK, Ireland and Spain Stuart Byron added: “We are delighted to sponsor the Cruise Challenge events.
“The Cruise Challenge is a fun and innovative way to engage with our trade partners and educate them on our product offering in a really enjoyable way. We can’t wait to see events like this return once again, giving us more opportunity to meet our trade partners face to face.”
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines head of sales Geoff Ridgeon said: “We are so pleased to be sponsoring the Cruise Challenge events again this year.
“These events have always been much anticipated within the industry for the way they bring us all as travel agents and cruise operators together, and that will be even more so after the 18 months we have all had. We have got so much to update agents on, and can’t wait to see lots of familiar faces, as well as some new ones, at the events very soon.”
All events will follow the latest government guidance in terms of health and safety. For more information on dates and how to get involved, contact the events manager Rachel Lonsdale, on the Cruise Challenge website.
