MSC Cruises has welcomed guests on board MSC Seashore, the line’s first Seaside EVO ship.

Guests embarked in Barcelona, Marseille, and Genoa over the weekend, and more guests will join the ship in Naples today (9 August), as part of the inaugural seven-night western Mediterranean itinerary.

MSC Seashore – the 19th ship to join the fleet – will then call Messina in Sicily, for Taormina and Mount Etna, then on to Valetta in Malta, and then Barcelona, Marseille and back to Genoa.

Following her summer season in the western Mediterranean, MSC Seashore will complete an 18-night transatlantic Grand Voyage cruise to Miami.

Once in Miami, MSC Seashore will offer seven-night cruises with two different itineraries. The first, in the west Caribbean, will call at Ocho Rios in Jamaica, George Town in the Cayman Islands, and Cozumel.

The second, in the east Caribbean, will call at San Juan in Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie on the island of St Thomas, and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Every cruise includes a stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises’ new private island in the Bahamas.

MSC Seashore features a wide choice of outdoor bars and dining, as well as six swimming pools, a new infinity pool, VR waterslide in the aquapark, five speciality restaurants, and much more.

Speaking about the ship during a ceremony in July, MSC Cruises executive chairman Piefrancesco Vago said: “She is without doubt our most stunning and sophisticated vessel to date and takes to a whole new level the already successful Seaside platform, with public spaces completely reimagined, a new secondary lounge and a broader offering both in terms of restaurants and retail options, amongst many other new and much improved features.”

Earlier this month, MSC Meraviglia departed PortMiami, Florida, as MSC Cruises resumed sailings out of the US. The line intends to have more than half of the fleet back at sea by the end of this summer.
