Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is offering double points on its travel agent rewards scheme.
At the start of the year, NCL announced NCL Freestyle Rewards, a new incentive programme that gives agents the chance to earn and collect points towards gifts or vouchers.
The extra points are available to agents who book select sailings by 21 April 2021, and points will be awarded automatically when agents claim for a qualifying booking.
NCL said the move was timed to coincide with its return to service, with new itineraries sailing Europe and the Caribbean beginning 25 July 2021.
The line intends to resume operations on Norwegian Jade, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Gem, starting with Norwegian Jade’s seven-day cruises to the Greek Isles.
Speaking when the Freestyle Rewards programme was launched, Norwegian Cruise Line UK & Ireland and MEA VP and managing director Eamonn Ferrin said: “We can’t stress enough how incredibly thankful we are for the commitment, hard work and loyalty our travel partners continue to show us at all times.
“We want to offer our valued partners another tool to help them capitalise on the great pent-up demand we see for our cruises, all while rewarding them for their continuous dedication.”
In late 2020, NCL also launched Norwegian Central, a new trade portal designed to help travel agents market and sell NCL holidays more easily, as well as NCL Air, a platform for fly-cruise bookings.
