Seabourn is offering agents up to five per cent bonus commission when they take an allocation of five or more suites on one or more summer 2021 sailings before 31 July 2020.

This is an extension of the cruise line’s Partnership Appreciation Event (PAE), launched in March, to offer agents and their clients extra benefits when they take out an allocation of suites under the company’s GAP programme.

The incentive encourages agents to allocate five (or more) suites on a Seabourn 2021 cruise, promoting to individual clients, or an extended family.

The cruise line has waved any financial commitment from agents to set up their allocation and if they should fulfill it, they will earn an extra three per cent (for a seven-night cruise) or five per cent commission (for a 10-night cruise or longer).

There is no penalty for agents no filling the allocation and they can simply revert to their regular commission for any bookings made by 31 July.

The offer can be combined with many of Seabourn’s current campaigns, including the four per cent bonus commission offer for agents (so a total of nine per cent commission is on offer); Sensational Suite Savings guest benefits, as well as the new ‘Book with Confidence’ and 10 per cent early booking savings.

Seabourn UK and Ireland managing director, Lynn Narraway, said: “As we look ahead to 2021 opportunities, taking out an allocation of five or more suites on a chosen Seabourn summer 2021 sailing means that agent partners may then market that cruise, along with all the benefits, to families, friends or even individual clients.

“Seabourn has also waived any GAP deposit fee, meaning that there is no cost for the agent to set up the allocation, and guests simply pay the regular cruise deposit when they book.

“It is so simple to set up an allocation with Seabourn. For example if an agent partner were to take an allocation of five veranda suites on a 10-night Yachtsman’s Mediterranean cruise on Seabourn Encore, departing from Civitavecchia (Rome) on 23 June 2021, the agent would receive five per cent bonus GAP commission PLUS our special four per cent bonus commission (total nine per cent extra compensation), while the client will enjoy $500 per suite onboard spend plus all the amenities of our Sensational Suite Savings promotion, which include complimentary suite upgrades, included business class air from London and select regional airports, free internet package and more.

“If the client chooses to pay early in full, they may also receive a 10 per cent discount on the gross cruise fare.

“The agent may even choose to escort their clients on the cruise under the terms of our valuable Tour Conductor (TC) programme.

“And of course, our Business Development Team is here to help partners with setting up the allocation, marketing tips and even producing collateral.”

Agents must set up the allocation on their chosen summer (Europe, Alaska or Canada & New England) 2021 cruise(s) before 31 July 2020 to receive these enhanced benefits.

Bonus commission will only be applied once the allocation reaches the required number of guests.
