Groupe GM showcased EcoFill, a dispensing solution designed to meet the priorities of modern cruise hospitality, live for the first time at the 40th Marine Hotel Association (MHA) Conference.

The company said in a press release that as cruise lines look to reduce onboard plastic waste, optimize operations and elevate guest well-being, amenity delivery systems are coming under sharper focus.

“Cruise operators today are navigating tighter environmental regulations, limited storage space and rising guest expectations,” said Guillaume de Beco, general manager of Groupe GM USA.

“EcoFill is designed to support that shift, advancing sustainability goals, streamlining operations and enhancing the guest experience, complemented by a curated pairing with one of our internationally renowned luxury brands,” added de Beco.

The company said that, unlike traditional bulk refill systems, EcoFill uses recyclable, sealed pouches that eliminate cross-contamination risks and reduce single-use plastic.

The mono-material pouches are fully traceable and tamper-evident, offering transparency and compliance with onboard health and safety protocols.

According to the press release, EcoFill features streamlined functionality: The system installs tool-free, pouches are quick to replace and transparent packaging helps housekeeping, which is beneficial for ships operating under tight turnaround windows.

Groupe GM added that the minimalist design meets the aesthetic expectations of premium cabins and spa environments and that EcoFill is compatible with its global brand portfolio, including Phytomer.

The company said that as cruise lines accelerate their sustainability strategies, the EcoFill showcase reinforces its role in supporting the industry to embed sustainable luxury into the guest experience without sacrificing design, efficiency, or brand integrity.
