The Europa 2 and the Hanseatic Inspiration will offer experiences across all seven continents for their 2026-27 programs, Hapag-Lloyd announced in a press release.
With departures now available for booking between September 2026 and October 2027, the two ships will offer distinct experiences, in addition to bilingual sailings for international guests.
The Europa 2 will offer itineraries to destinations in the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, visiting what the company calls a “fresh line-up of breathtaking destinations.”
After departing from the Mediterranean in fall 2026, the ship sails to the Canary Islands before embarking on a journey around Africa.
The sailings in the region feature new ports for Hapag-Lloyd, such as Dakar, Banjul, São Tomé and Zanzibar.
Other highlights of the ship’s season include maiden visits to destinations in Western Australia, Papua New Guinea and Palau in Spring 2027.
With sailings focused on both German- and English-speaking guests, the ship’s season also includes cruises to the Maldives and the Seychelles, as well as Southeast Asia and Australia.
The Hanseatic Inspiration will also offer bilingual cruises, operating expedition cruises in Antarctica, South America and the Arctic.
According to Hapag-Lloyd, the season is highlighted by “immersive and extraordinary” itineraries, sailing to South America, the Weddell Sea and the Antarctic Circle, as well as Svalbard and Greenland.
The 230-guest ship is set to offer six cruises to the Great Lakes of North America between 2026 and 2027.
According to the company, these cruises offer a “rare opportunity” to sail as far as Lake Superior and feature zodiac rides and guided wilderness hikes.
The ship vessel offers an 18-day expedition cruise to the Amazon sailing from Belém, Brazil, to Iquitos, Peru, in April 2027.
