Riviera Travel announced in a press release that it has kicked off its 2025 river cruise season by introducing new product offerings designed for the upper-premium travel set.

“This year is going to be a monumental one for Riviera Travel as we continue to expand our presence in the U.S. market and introduce American travelers to our offerings,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America of Riviera Travel.

Riviera Travel will introduce two new ultra-premium ships this season. Setting sail on the Danube in June, the 178-passenger Riviera Radiance will debut the brand’s new split-level design.

The Riviera Rose will sail on the Douro in May. The 114-passenger ship will offer the seven-night “Highlights of the Douro Valley and Salamanca River Cruise” and the 10-night “Highlights of the Douro Valley and Salamanca with Lisbon.”

The latter’s extension includes adding a fully escorted three-night extension in Lisbon following the cruise.

The company said it is introducing new, longer combination cruise itineraries, ranging from 15 to 29 days. These five back-to-back itineraries sail along the Rhine, Moselle and Danube rivers.

The itineraries include:

Riviera Travel is expanding its selection of solo departures: this year will feature 30 solo sailings. It is also introducing flexible booking policies, providing a group of eight or more on any seven-night or more extended river cruise the exclusive “one in seven” offer, where the eighth person sails for free.

For a limited time, a half-price deposit offer is available on seven-night or longer itineraries, as well as an extended hold period, allowing groups to secure space for up to eight weeks.
