Cunard’s newest ship, the Queen Anne, made its debut in Singapore during an overnight visit that started on Mar. 24, 2024.
According to a press release, the vessel arrived at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre as part of a 107-night world cruise that will visit over 30 destinations in more than 20 countries.
To mark its maiden call to Singapore, the Queen Anne hosted a plaque exchange ceremony onboard, which was attended by Captain David Hudson, as well as representatives from SATS-Creuers Cruise Services, which operates the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore.
Members of the Singapore Tourism Board were also onboard, in addition to employees of Wallem Shipping.
On Mar. 24, the Queen Anne welcomed over 40 local travel advisors for a familiarization tour of its facilities.
In addition to a lunch at the Britannia restaurant, the professionals were said to have gotten a firsthand look at some of the signature offerings of the vessel, including the two-deck Royal Court Theatre and the three-deck Grand Atrium.
After departing from Singapore, the Queen Anne continued its world cruise with visits to Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia.
The 3,000-guest ship is also set to visit Mauritius, South Africa, Namibia, Senegal and the Canary Islands before completing its journey in Southampton on Apr. 27, 2025.
According to a press release, the itinerary includes overnight stays in Singapore, Hong Kong, New York, San Francisco, Auckland, Cape Town and Sydney.
The Queen Anne is now set to visit the port of Singapore again next year as part of its 2026 world cruise.
Set to take place in February, the call will also allow guests to embark on a five-night cruise to Hong Kong.
As the first ship to enter service for Cunard in over ten years, the Queen Anne was built at the Fincantieri shipyard and debuted in May 2024.
