P&O Cruises’ Arcadia has returned to the Vanilla Islands in the Indian Ocean for the first time in nearly 10 years.

Arcadia is making stops in Mauritius and Réunion as part of its world cruise, sailing roundtrip from Southampton.

The captain of the Arcadia, Yuliyan Kostov, expressed his enthusiasm: “Calling at this region of the world is a true pleasure for both passengers and crew. The landscapes are magnificent, and we feel as though we’re exploring an exotic version of Europe. We will return with great pleasure.”

Pascal Viroleau, director of the Vanilla Islands, said: “P&O’s return is a strong signal, illustrating the confidence placed in our destinations and highlighting our ability to build fruitful and lasting relationships with major players in the sector. We are thus pursuing a win-win strategy, beneficial for both cruise companies and our territories.”
