The Carnival Spirit recently embarked on a trans-Atlantic crossing to PortMiami after completing a drydock in Europe.

Set to spend the upcoming summer season in Alaska, the Carnival Cruise Line ship sailed from Barcelona, Spain, on Mar. 16, 2025.

As part of its 14-night repositioning cruise, the vessel is now set to visit destinations in Spain, Portugal and Bermuda, including Málaga, Cádiz, Ponta Delgada and King’s Wharf.

Before ending in Miami on Mar. 30, 2025, the itinerary also includes seven days cruising in the Atlantic Ocean.

Once in Florida, the Carnival Spirit kicks off another repositioning cruise, this time to its summer homeport in Seattle.

In addition to a full transit of the Panama Canal, the 15-night voyage features visits to three ports of call in Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico.

The ship is then set to kick off a series of seven-night cruises to Alaska and Canada on Apr. 14, 2025.

Sailing roundtrip from Seattle, the itineraries feature visits to Ketchikan, Juneau, Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway and Victoria.

Upon completing its schedule in the region, the Carnival Spirit embarks on a 14-night Carnival Journeys cruise to Hawaii.

The 15-night cruise sails roundtrip from Seattle and features visits to Kahului, Nawiliwili, Honolulu and Hilo, as well as Victoria.

In early October, the ship embarks on Panama Canal cruise ahead of a winter season sailing out of Mobile, Alabama.

Before sailing from Barcelona, the Carnival Spirit underwent a series of enhancements at a drydock in France.

The refit included the addition of new features, such as the Heroes Tribute Bar and a dedicated space for Chef’s Table.

Other areas onboard were refreshed, including the casino, the Cloud 9 Spa, the fitness center, the retail shops and the nightclub.
