MSC Cruises has revealed a new entertainment lineup for the MSC Virtuosa during the summer 2025 season, which will include the live-to-film concert Dirty Dancing: In Concert.
The ship will homeport in Southampton, UK, offering cruises to Northern Europe, the Atlantic coast, Norwegian fjords and the Canary Islands.
The first performance of Dirty Dancing: In Concert is scheduled for July 10, 2025. The show will feature a live band, singers, and dancers performing in sync with the movie. Guests can also enjoy ‘Dirty Dancing’-themed after-show parties with sing-alongs.
The ship will also offer other new shows, including Songbook Abba, featuring ABBA’s greatest hits, and Starwalker, a tribute to Michael Jackson’s classic songs.
Additionally, the MSC Virtuosa will introduce Hall of Fame, a new show celebrating pop legends, as well as two brand-new circus aerial performances at the Carousel Lounge, launching in June and autumn 2025. The official names for the circus shows will be chosen by families and children onboard.
Steve Leatham, vice president of entertainment, MSC Cruises, said: “Providing an impressive array of spectacular entertainment options for every type of guest around the clock is key to creating an unforgettable cruise experience. MSC Virtuosa is an incredible platform for pushing the boundaries of entertainment at sea.
“We’re thrilled to introduce brand-new daytime and evening headline events that will leave our guests in awe. We’re particularly excited about the premiere of ‘Dirty Dancing: In Concert, ‘Hall of Fame’ and our newest Carousel Productions Cirque shows, which will both debut this summer.”
The Virtuosa will also join the MSC World America in offering the live-to-film concert at sea in the Caribbean, along with the debut of the Hall of Fame show.
