Silversea has announced its 2028 World Cruise, “An Ode to the Moment,” set to depart from Miami for the first time on a Silversea World Cruise.
Sailing aboard the Silver Shadow, the 132-day journey will begin on January 5, 2028, and conclude in Nice on May 16, visiting 58 destinations across 29 countries, including 17 overnight stays.
The itinerary explores the Caribbean, South America, Africa, the Middle East and Europe, connecting guests to over 30 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The voyage will also feature curated events and optional overland tours, offering exclusive experiences.

Sailing from Miami to Cartagena, the voyage explores the Caribbean, with stops in Willemstad, Jost Van Dyke, Gustavia and Kralendijk. Continuing along South America’s Pacific coast, guests will cross the Panama Canal, experience local traditions in Lima and enjoy exclusive cultural events.
The journey then circles Cape Horn, passing through the Chilean Fjords, Patagonia, Ushuaia, and Buenos Aires, with an optional visit to Iguazu Falls. In Rio de Janeiro, travelers will witness Carnival with front-box seating at the Sambódromo before crossing the Atlantic to Cape Town, stopping in St. Helena and Namibia.
In Africa, the world tour features South African game drives and a day on Ile aux Cerfs in Mauritius. The itinerary then explores the Arabian Peninsula, with overnight stays in Muscat, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai, plus an optional gorilla trek in Rwanda. Sailing through the Red Sea, guests will visit Petra, Luxor and the Valley of the Kings before entering the Mediterranean, stopping in Milos, Agropoli and Diano National Park. The journey concludes with an exclusive farewell event.
