Sea Cloud Cruises has announced its first President’s Cruise onboard the Sea Cloud Spirit, which will be hosted by Mirell Reyes, president of Sea Cloud Cruises North America.

The company said in a press release that the cruise will depart on June 4 from Reyes’ hometown of Monaco and will call on her favorite Mediterranean islands of Corsica and Sardinia before disembarking in Civitavecchia, Rome, on June 11, 2025.

According to the press release, Reyes will welcome Mario Naar, Chef Claudio Giordano and Nils Lackner to explore and curate local wines and cheeses from the Mediterranean region.

Naar is a partner at Chèvre, a cheese shop and restaurant. Giordano is known for his expertise in Italian seafood cuisine, and Lackner is a prominent German sommelier and wine communicator from the island of Sylt.

The company said that Reyes will also introduce guests to the “laid-back glamour” of the region from an insider’s point of view. Highlights include exclusive shore excursions, festive parties and intimate gatherings.

The eight-night itinerary will include Monte Carlo/Monaco, Calvi/Corsica, Ajaccio/Corsica, Alghero/Sardina, Bonifacio/Corsica, Porto Cervo/Sardinia and Civitavecchia (Rome)/Italy.

“The islands of the Mediterranean are among the most beautiful in the world, and I have had so many wonderful moments there, including, of course, Monaco with longtime friends,” said Reyes. “I look forward to hosting past guests and those new to Sea Cloud Cruises as we sail Sea Cloud Spirit with Mario, Claudio and Nils.”

Reyes took the helm to lead North American expansion efforts for Sea Cloud Cruises in 2023. She helped grow the brand’s visibility across the continent among discerning travelers, luxury travel advisors and the consortia community.

Overseeing all North American sales, marketing and communications, Reyes has also secured partnerships with leading cultural institutions and top chefs, according to Sea Cloud.
