Holland America Line unveiled its 2026-27 Mexico and Pacific Coast seasons, featuring longer cruises of up to 12 days.

The Mexico season includes destinations like the Mexican Riviera, Baja Peninsula and Loreto. The Pacific Coast season highlights British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest.

The Koningsdam and Zaandam will offer 16 departures on eight itineraries, ranging from seven to 12 days. The voyages explore the Mexican Riviera, Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez, departing either roundtrip from San Diego, California, or on open-jaw routes between San Diego and Vancouver, British Columbia.

“San Diego is an important homeport for Holland America Line and provides an exceptional experience to our guests at the beginning or end of their Mexican cruise vacations,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of revenue planning and deployment for Holland America Line. “After embarking in San Diego, travelers can explore picturesque Cabo San Lucas, take in the history of Loreto and more — all while enjoying our premium onboard experience and best-in-cruise service.”

Guests can explore Mexico through a variety of shore excursions. In Mazatlán, a full-day tour visits the Colonial Villages of the Sierra Madre, while the Majahuitas Cove Catamaran Snorkel and Yelapa Bay Beach excursion offers secluded beaches and hiking opportunities.

The Pacific Coast season features 11 itineraries from one to seven days, sailing on five ships from San Diego, Seattle, and Vancouver. Ports include Astoria, Santa Barbara and Ensenada, with select itineraries offering an overnight stay in San Francisco.

The Noordam will offer two departures of a seven-day Great Bear Rainforest voyage, sailing roundtrip from Seattle. The itinerary includes stops in Ketchikan and British Columbia, with opportunities to see wildlife like whales, eagles and the Kermode bear. Travelers will also sail the Inside Passage, including Bella Bella and the Grenville Channel.

“Seattle’s our hometown, and as such, we know a little bit about the Pacific Coast — and the experience guests will have on these itineraries will show that,” said Grigsby.

“This series of cruises provides great options for those seeking a quick escape and are also a great introduction for those who might be trying their first cruise.”
