Cruise Industry News’ 2025 Luxury Market Report has revealed that Alaskan ports will see a significant increase in luxury ships making calls in the region next year.
According to the report, Alaska will accommodate 4.8 percent of the total major luxury sailings’ capacity in 2026, while seeing an 11.9 percent capacity increase from this year.
Silversea holds most of the market share in 2025 with 34.6 percent, and Viking Ocean is set to lead next year with 26.5 percent. Also leading with high market shares will be Regent and Seabourn in the same year.
The 2025 report has also shown that Alaska will see ships from five major industry players in 2025, with three more to enter in 2026. Windstar and Crystal will return with one ship each next year, while The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is set make its first debut.
