Meyer Turku announced a new project as part of its NEcOLEAP green transition, aimed at protecting and enhancing biodiversity at its shipyard.
According to a company’s Facebook update, the project, running through the end of 2025, focuses on understanding the environmental impact of the shipyard, improving natural areas and developing sustainable solutions for the future.
“The goal is to gather all environmental studies conducted in nearby areas, fill in any gaps and create a clear picture of the current status of biodiversity at the shipyard. This helps us improve our environmental efforts in the long run,” said Jonas Martin, project manager.
