Frank Del Rio Jr. is stepping down as President of Oceania Cruises, which is owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
Del Rio Jr. had been in the job since 2022, taking over from Howard Sherman.
The executive had joined the company in 2003, advanced within the corporation, then left and rejoined again in 2022 as chief sales and marketing officer.
Jason Montague, the new chief luxury officer for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, said in a statement that he wanted to thank both Del Rio Jr., and his father, Frank Del Rio, for their work in building the brand and positioning it for the future.
“Both Frank and his father, our company’s founder, have left an enduring legacy on Oceania Cruises and the broader industry,” Montague said in a statement sent to travel partners.
