The Carnival Radiance is currently in Hawaii as part of a 14-night cruise that sailed from Long Beach earlier this month.

Part of Carnival Cruise Line’s Journeys program, the itinerary includes visits to five destinations before returning to California on Feb. 23, 2025.

After departing from Long Beach, the Carnival Radiance visits to Kahului, Honolulu, Nawiliwili and Hilo.

In addition to eight days cruising in the Pacific, the cruise also includes a visit to the port of Ensenada in Mexico.

According to Carnival, the Journeys are a series of special sailings “made to amaze” that include “great destinations” and “less-travelled” routes.

Guests can also take advantage of enriching experiences onboard with a classic cruising fare, such as the “Throwback Sea Day.”

The themed day is said to bring the ship back to 1987, with activities for the day recreated to resemble the way they were played in the late 1980s.

Other activities include a Cocktail Party with the officers and the Captain, hosted by the ship’s Cruise Director.

Guests also have an opportunity to connect with the ship’s senior team during Q&A sessions that cover various topics from Maritime, Hotel Operations and Entertainment departments.

The Carnival Journeys also include the “Academy of Fun” program, which offers enrichment courses designed to help expand horizons in topics that include photography, stargazing and social media.

After completing its 14-night cruise to Hawaii, the Carnival Radiance resumes its regular schedule of short cruises to Mexico and California.

Departing from Long Beach, the three- to five-night itineraries feature visits to Ensenada, Catalina Island and Cabo San Lucas.

The 2000-built ship is set to offer additional Carnival Journeys cruises to the Hawaiian archipelago in March, April, October and November. Seven additional sailings are scheduled for 2026.

Other Carnival ships scheduled to visit Hawaii this year include the Carnival Spirit, the Carnival Luminosa and the Carnival Legend.
