Coral Expeditions has announced its 2026 Tasmania season, marking the 10th year of expedition cruising aboard the Coral Discoverer.
The program features new and returning itineraries along Tasmania’s coastline.

The Sydney to Hobart: A Yachting Tradition cruise departs on December 26, 2025, offering a seven-night journey that follows the renowned Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. Guests will sail alongside the fleet from Sydney Harbour to Hobart, with expert commentary and New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Constellation docks. This itinerary is available for booking now.
The Wild Escape Tasmania voyage, departing January 2, 2026, is a four-night adventure exploring Maria Island, Freycinet, and Bruny Island. Travelers can enjoy guided walks, kayaking, and local food and wine experiences. Bookings open on March 1, 2025.
For those interested in hiking, the Scenic Walks of Tasmania cruise departs on January 6, 2026, for a seven-night expedition through remote national parks, including Cape Hauy, Bruny Island, and Mt Beattie. The Circumnavigation of Tasmania cruise, departing on January 13 and February 26, 2026, is a 14-night journey around the entire Tasmanian coastline.
